These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) govern your use of https://ebisudiagnostics.in (the “Website”) and the diagnostic services offered by Ebisu Diagnostics (“Ebisu Diagnostics“, “we“, “us“, “our“) at our centres in HSR Layout, Dasarahalli and BTM Layout, Bengaluru, and through home sample collection. By using the Website, booking an appointment or availing any of our services, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal and health information.
1. Our Services
We provide diagnostic imaging (including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, OPG and cone beam CT), cardiac and neuro diagnostics (including ECG, ECHO, TMT, EEG, EMG, NCV and PFT), laboratory tests, health check-up packages and home sample collection. The availability of a service may vary by centre; please confirm with us when booking.
Information on this Website is for general awareness only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor. Our reports should be interpreted by your treating or referring doctor in the context of your clinical history.
2. Appointments and Bookings
- Appointments can be booked through the Website, by phone, by email or at our centres. A booking made through the Website is a request and is confirmed only when our team contacts you.
- Please arrive on time and carry your doctor’s prescription, previous reports and a valid photo ID where applicable. Late arrival may require your appointment to be rescheduled.
- Certain tests require a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner, as required by law or by clinical protocol.
- Emergency and critical cases may be given priority, which can occasionally delay scheduled appointments. We appreciate your understanding.
3. Preparation, Safety and Consent
- Some tests need preparation such as fasting, stopping certain medicines or a full bladder. You are responsible for following the instructions given by our staff; not doing so may affect results or require the test to be repeated.
- You must tell us before your test if you are pregnant or may be pregnant, have a pacemaker, implant, stent, metal fragments or any electronic device, have allergies (including to contrast agents), or have kidney disease or diabetes.
- Procedures involving contrast, sedation or other risks are performed only after informed written consent.
- Our staff may decline or postpone a test if it is not safe or clinically appropriate to proceed.
4. Ultrasound and PC-PNDT Compliance
Ebisu Diagnostics complies with the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC-PNDT) Act, 1994. Determination or disclosure of the sex of the foetus is prohibited by law and is not done at our centres. Pregnant patients must complete the forms and declarations required under the Act before an obstetric scan.
5. Home Sample Collection
- Home sample collection is available in areas near our three Bengaluru centres, subject to slot availability.
- Please ensure someone is available at the address provided and that any fasting or preparation instructions have been followed.
- Collection times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
6. Prices and Payments
- Prices shown on the Website for tests and health packages are in Indian Rupees and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable is the one confirmed at the time of billing.
- Offers, discounts and package prices cannot be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn at any time.
- Online payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Additional tests, contrast or consumables advised during your visit may be charged separately, and will be explained to you before they are carried out.
7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
- You may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting us before your scheduled time.
- If you have paid in advance and cancel before the test or sample collection is performed, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method within [7–10] working days, less any payment gateway charges where applicable.
- No refund is possible once a test has been performed or a sample has been collected and processed.
- If we cancel an appointment for operational reasons, we will offer you another slot or a full refund.
8. Reports
- Most reports are ready the same day. Some specialised tests take longer; our team will tell you the expected time when you book.
- Reports are shared by email, WhatsApp/SMS link or in hard copy at our centre, using the contact details you provide. Please make sure these details are correct.
- Reports will be released only to the patient, a person authorised by the patient, or the referring doctor.
- Diagnostic tests have known limitations, and in rare cases results may need to be confirmed with repeat or additional tests. Results should always be read by a qualified doctor alongside your clinical history.
9. Use of the Website
- You agree to provide accurate information in our forms and not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, or upload anything unlawful or harmful.
- All content on the Website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Ebisu Diagnostics or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
- The Website may contain links to third-party websites such as Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
- We aim to keep the Website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ebisu Diagnostics is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website, from delays beyond our reasonable control, or from incorrect information provided by you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
11. Feedback and Grievances
We value your feedback. If you have a concern about our services, please write to support@ebisudiagnostics.in or speak to the centre manager at any of our centres. Concerns about your personal data can also be raised with our Grievance Officer as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
